Representatives of the offices of the Legal Development Network and the representative of the National Police Andriy Tkachev.
On December 3-4, 2016 Kharkiv hosted the regional seminar for the Network members from Chernihiv, Kharkiv, Sumy and Donetsk regions.
A tradition of regional trainings is training modules on the topics of personal time management, effective time use, productivity and searching for the answer to the question "How to do everything...well, almost anything?". This time the initiator of this difficult conversation and trainer was Zoryana Khrystyna, who recommended to learn to deal with "Frogs" (unpleasant, small, but necessary things) and love “Elephants” (large businesses that are recommended to be split into components).
In the context of professional development Maksym Ilchyshen shared his experience in the field of NGO interaction with the external environment, in particular with local authorities.
The unpredictable highlight of the event was the meeting with Andriy Tkachev, the representative of the National Police. The discussion revolved around the importance of public support for police reform in Ukraine.
An important part of the event was the joint work on developing proposals regarding the powers, functions and methods of work of the regional coordinators. Viktor Tarasov was elected as the Regional coordinator in the Northern region, (Chernihiv office), Roman Likhachev - in the Eastern region (Chuhuiv).
The regional training of the Legal Development Network are supported by the Program Initiatives "Human Rights and Justice" of International Renaissance Foundation.
