The website for public discussion of draft laws developed with the support of the USAID RADA and the Computerized Systems Department of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine has been recently presented. Today everyone can join a constructive discussion of the draft laws.
On November 3 the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted the draft law No. 3665 "On mediation". It provides the definition of the term "mediation", defines the basic principles of mediation, legal framework procedure, the conditions for obtaining the mediator status, etc. See more details on Legal League.
On November 18 in the Secretariat of the Verkhovna Rada on Human Rights representatives of CF “Rozvytok” presented modifications in the Law "About the State Civil Registration". Amendments to the Law started being developed in 2012 and were submitted at the expert meeting "Improvement and simplification of procedure for obtaining identity documents by representatives of Roma ethnic minority" in Kyiv.
Internally displaced persons from Crimea and Eastern Ukraine are arriving to different communities of our country. They seek refuge and very often have nowhere to go. This situation has been going on for months. IDPs are hosted by volunteers and ordinary people. In Volyn region, for example, a lot of owners have left their summer houses for IDPs.
