Bridge to tomorrow

The priest and psychologist wearing the military uniform, a few lawyers and human rights defenders - what can unite all these people? They visit together the districts of Kherson region and carry out psychological and legal seminars for the locals. They are united by one goal, one objective - to help ex-ATO combatants and their families. The editorial staff of the Vgoru newspaper joined one of such seminars, which took place in Henichesk.

Psychological legal workshops stirred up ATO veterans

On 11 March the fourth seminar for ATO ex-combatants and their families was held  in Beryslav , Kherson region. The program traditionally included psychological, legal, informational aid and moral support. The expert of the regional centre of social services for family, children and youth Alla Tverdokhlib helped the team of the Information Resource Center "Legal Space" organize training.

Caring village heads go through training to improve communities

How to develop and change communities to prevent the youth from leaving. How to improve the welfare of residents of small villages of Kherson region. Employees of village councils in Bilozerka district did not only study at the legal seminar, but discussed the question of uniting communities and visions of their future.

Networks of Community Law Centers and legal clinics exchanged experience

How can we build informational work of Community Law Centers? How is the cooperation with volunteers adjusted? How to prevent lawyers who support others from psychological pressure? These and others questions were discussed by the participants of learning seminar for lawyers by Community Law Centers network and legal clinics of Ukrainian Helsinki Human Rights Union.
