The changes relate to children with disabilities from among the displaced persons, ATO combatants and their families.
The government raised the amount of monthly targeted assistance for children with disabilities from internally displaced persons to the subsistence minimum to cover living expenses, including housing and communal services. According to i24.com.ua, it is currently 1312 UAH. From 01.12.2017 it will be 1373 UAH.
Corresponding changes were made by Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine No. 453 dd 04.07.2017 to the Procedure for providing monthly targeted assistance to internally displaced persons to cover residential expenses, including payments for housing and communal services (adopted by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine from October 1, 2014, No. 505).
The document also provides for the right to receive cash assistance to ATO combatants from internally displaced persons who protect the independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine and take direct part in the antiterrorist operation and members of their families, regardless of the availability of their living space.
