Ukrainian children got opportunity to defend their rights in UN

Ukrainian children got the opportunity to send to the UN Committee on the rights of the child complaints of grave or systematic violations by a state of rights under the Convention on the rights of the child or the optional protocols thereto, if the national protection have been exhausted, according to LEAGUE LAW.

 

The first victory in criminal case of Loshchynivka

The lawyer, head of the Roma Human Rights Center Volodymyr Kondur told about the first victory in the criminal case on antiRoma pogroms in the village of Loshchynivka, Odesa region, on 18 January 2016. The court reversed the decision of the investigator of Prosecutor's office on non-recognition of the Roma as victims.

 

More vulnerable social groups have access to FLA: the President has signed a law that amends the law of Ukraine "On free legal aid"

On January 3, 2017 Petro Poroshenko signed Law of Ukraine "On High Council of Justice" according to official Internet representation of the President of Ukraine. This document, in particular, changes in the Law of Ukraine "On free legal aid" in terms of expanding the circle of persons entitled to free secondary legal aid. On 4 January Voice of Ukraine published the Law of Ukraine "On High Council of Justice", therefore these changes take effect from 5 January 2017.
