War deprived a young woman of home and prestigious job. Having asked specialists of Chuhuiv human rights group for free legal aid the IDP woman managed to solve the employment problem and avoid paying court fees.
Having moved from Donetsk to Kharkiv, Anastasia* faced the employment problem. The situation was complicated with the employment contract signed by her with the former employer. In Donetsk Anastasia had a good job in the field of medicine, however, after the beginning of anti-terrorist operation the girl hurried to leave to save her life.
She failed to get in touch with the employer as the building in which Nastya worked earlier was destroyed by a shell and the director of the firm hastily left Donetsk.
After a long search of the solution of this problem the girl addressed Chuhuiv human rights group where she was advised to appeal to court. Experts of ChHRG draw up the statement of claim and filed a lawsuit.
The court granted completely the statement of claim. Now Nastya has opportunity to find a job in the new place of residence.
Every IDP who appeals to court for protection of his/her rights has to know that at submission of the claim on labor disputes plaintiffs should not pay court fees.
The name is changed for ethical reasons.
Legal aid was provided to the IDP woman within the "Providing legal aid to internally displaced persons in the territory of the Kharkiv region at the system level" initiative in the framework of the "Fast Response to Social and Economic Problems of Internally Displaced Persons in Ukraine" UNDP project funded by the Government of Japan.
