The rehabilitation program "Return to life" for 2016-2017 targets injured soldiers, retired ATO combatants personnel of the security sector and defense of Ukraine.
The priest and psychologist wearing the military uniform, a few lawyers and human rights defenders - what can unite all these people? They visit together the districts of Kherson region and carry out psychological and legal seminars for the locals. They are united by one goal, one objective - to help ex-ATO combatants and their families. The editorial staff of the Vgoru newspaper joined one of such seminars, which took place in Henichesk.
In Kherson region volunteers, public activists and authorities form a network of centers for aid to ATO combatants and their families.
On 16 February in the village of Nyzhni Sirohozy (Kherson region) the seminar was held for ATO combatants and their families. Psychological, legal, information aid and moral support – the program was intense and very efficient.
In February the team of IRC "Legal Space" and Andriy Kalyta, chairman of the Board of Life Source Fund, the psychologist will hold three educational psychological and legal awareness raising seminars for demobilized soldiers and their families, volunteers and civil servants in three districts of Kherson Region.
During the event military wives learned to understand their feelings, assessed how conflicts influence family relations, found internal resources for their resolving. The meeting was held on January 15 in Chaplynka territorial center of social service in Kherson region.
Since the beginning of November in Slovyansk, Artemivsk, Kramatorsk, Chervonyi Lyman, Konstantynivka and Druzhkova psychotherapeutic groups that hold weekly events for adults and children are organized. Groups work has two streams: art therapy and edutaining classes.
Public organization "Agency for Democratic Development of Donbass" starts the project on providing psychological assistance to internally displaced persons who are living in Donetsk region. Now displaced persons will get the qualified help and advice of psychologists, will be able to participate in work of psychotherapeutic groups and to receive useful information materials as soon as possible to adapt in new communities.
