In October last year the Legal Space web portal published the news of the egregious event about how the command of the military unit tried to kidnap a soldier (a resident of Kherson) from an ambulance, who was struck by electricity – "to hush up" the accident.
In August the Legal Space published the story of the serviceman Victor Nazarenko who was fighting for reinstatement in work.
Last year in November Valery Holodnyak’s story, who couldn’t receive the ATO combatant status for several months, was published on the Legal Scope web portal. The reason is the military units where he served did not submit necessary papers. They were not registered in time and the soldier was simply forgotten about.

Since the beginning of the year lawyers of five Community Law Centers have been providing free legal aid (further FLA) to soldiers in Kherson, Volyn, Chernihiv, Kharkiv and Kyiv oblasts. For this period they analyzed more than 2000 requests, carried out court case monitoring, identified system problems of military personnel and attracted attention to them of the authorities and society in the public statements.
