Reform of power decentralization in Ukraine is a great concern of professional lawyers of Legal Development Network: in January, Stanislav human rights group became an active participant in the events dedicated to the creation of the United Territorial Community (UTC) in Ivano-Frankivsk region.
Thus, on January 16, 2017, a meeting of the working group was held on creation of Dolyna United Territorial Community, with the participation of the Mayor of the city of Dolyna Volodymyr Garazd, members of Dolyna City Council and initiative groups of 6 villages headed by village heads. The Chairman of the Board of Stanislav human rights group Andrii Maletyn joined the group.
The topic of discussion was the prospects of uniting Dolyna and neighboring villages into the Dolyna Territorial Community and its procedural features according to the Law of Ukraine "On voluntary association of territorial communities".
The head of Stanislav human rights group told participants of the meeting about the achievements of Ivano-Frankivsk Network Office and offered to provide legal support to the process of uniting.
Andrii Maletyn also visited the strategic planning training for employees of urban and rural councils.

According to the results of the actions the parties identified goals and objectives of the development strategy for the future Dolyna United Territorial Community, and also agreed that Stanislav human rights group will carry out expert and legal support in the process of integration and further activities of the UTC.
